The Laura Dern song just got gayer.
The anthem to the Oscar-winning Marriage Story star, which went viral after it was performed by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles at the Independent Spirit Awards, has been turned into a club remix.
Producer Quinn Coleman and DJs the Perry Twins created a dance version of the song penned by producer Greg O’Connor and Jordan Firstman, which reviewed the unsung gay moments of the past year’s standout indie films.
Although Dern, as a gay icon, was the memorable centerpiece of the tune, other queer highlights included “Idina Menzel in Uncut Gems, J. Lo pole-dancing to Fiona Apple, FKA Twigs talking about snakes.”
The remix is now available now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other streaming services. And 100 percent of proceeds benefit GMCLA and its various outreach programs, such as the Alive Music Project and Arts for Incarcerated Youth Network.
